Locking Orders

Hello Meerkat Enthusiasts!
We have a quick fulfillment update to share.
BackerKit orders will be locking in two days as all inventory is now on its way to our fulfillment hubs in China, the UK, and the United States. Once orders are locked, we will begin preparing our shipping list.
Because Meerkat Kingdoms was manufactured in China, inventory will arrive at our China fulfillment hub first. If everything stays on schedule, we expect fulfillment for backers shipping from the China hub to begin in about a week or two.
For our US and UK backers, your inventory is still in transit to those fulfillment centers. As soon as we have confirmation that it has arrived and a more accurate shipping timeline, we'll be sure to share another update.

Production, Fulfillment, & New Game Release Update

Hello Meerkat Enthusiasts!
Sorry for the delayed update! We wanted to wait until we had more concrete information to share regarding both production and fulfillment.
The good news is that production for Meerkat Kingdoms fully completed a few weeks ago, and ocean freight has officially been booked. Below is the latest information for each fulfillment region.
Here’s a photo of some of the completed production run, packed and ready to begin its journey!
US Fulfillment
Ocean freight is currently estimated to arrive at port around August 7th. From there, it typically takes about 1–2 weeks for inventory to reach our fulfillment hub.
At the moment, we expect US fulfillment to begin sometime in late August or early September.
UK/EU Fulfillment
Freight has also been booked for the UK/EU inventory. The current estimated arrival at port is August 15th. After that, the shipment will need to clear customs before being delivered to our fulfillment partner, Zatu.
Once inventory arrives, orders will be processed and added to their fulfillment queue. We’ll have a better estimate for shipping timelines once the product is officially checked in at their warehouse, but my current guess on when fulfillment will likely begin is sometime in September (though please don’t hold me to that because it will depend on Zatu confirming their delivery schedule with me).
China / Rest of World Fulfillment
Our China fulfillment hub is currently arranging pickup of the necessary inventory directly from the manufacturer so fulfillment preparations can begin.
However, fulfillment cannot start until the deluxe inserts from Folded Space arrive. Those inserts are currently estimated to reach the China fulfillment hub around July 22nd.
Once everything arrives and orders are processed, fulfillment should begin shortly afterward.

Production Update

Hello Meerkat Enthusiasts!
I’ve been getting quite a few messages asking for an update on Meerkat Kingdoms. I was originally hoping to wait until production was fully complete so I could provide more detailed information, but I didn’t want to keep everyone waiting any longer after receiving so many requests.
Production
Production is currently well underway and is expected to be completed at the end of this month. Once production wraps up, we’ll begin arranging ocean freight to the various fulfillment hubs. After those shipments are booked, I’ll be able to provide a much clearer estimate on when fulfillment will begin.
I will be locking orders on May 20th, with cards being charged a few days afterward. An email reminder will be sent out beforehand as a heads up. If you haven’t yet completed your shipping information, please make sure to do so before those dates!
Once these next steps are finalized, we’ll have much more information to share. Thank you all so much for your patience and support, we’re almost there!
Jason and the Argonauts
Lastly, we currently have a new game live on BackerKit: Jason and the Argonauts!The campaign funded in just 10 minutes and is currently over 1300% funded with more than 1,900 backers. We’d love to have you join us on another adventure if it sounds like something you’d enjoy.
Jason and the Argonauts is a Greek mythology-themed solo game filled with immersive lore, dice rolling, dice manipulation, and epic boss battle mechanisms.

Update With Pictures

Hello Meerkat Enthusiasts!
I wanted to provide a quick update on Meerkat Kingdoms for everyone and share some pictures of the progress.
Deluxe Insert As you know we had a deluxe insert made by Folded Space for Meerkat Kingdoms, below are images of the latest insert. It will be able to properly store everything from the base game and the 5th player expansion including the dice faction add-on.
Production Sample The manufacturer insisted on creating a sample of the game for a final approval before moving into mass production, we ultimately agreed with them that this would be the best way forward, especially since we need to send a copy to Folded Spaces to make sure the deluxe insert fits properly, the slights miss measurements could make the insert not fit properly.
Below you can see the sample copy of the game. The only thing we are waiting on are the dice which are supposed to be ready this week. Once we have the dice we can send a copy to Fold Spaces and give a final approval to move into mass production.
We will provide another update in about a month on the progress of the game.

Quick Update!

Hello Meerkat Enthusiasts!
First off, thank you for your patience. I know this update took a little longer than usual. I was honestly hoping to wait until I had something a bit more exciting to share, but I also want to keep you fully in the loop.
Because Meerkat Kingdoms is one of the largest games Envy Born Games has ever published, I’ve been moving a bit more deliberately through the preproduction process. I’ve been spending extra time reviewing files and communicating closely with the manufacturer to make sure everything is absolutely correct before we move into full production.
During final e-proof review (which we received a couple of weeks ago), we did catch a few small issues that needed correction. I’m very glad we found them now rather than after manufacturing began. Those corrections have been made, all final files have been submitted, and the e-proofs are officially approved.
Manufacturing is scheduled to begin shortly after the team returns from Chinese New Year.
Because of the additional proofing adjustments and the holiday timing, fulfillment will likely shift back a bit from the original projection. That said, I want to reassure everyone, everything is moving forward properly, and the game will absolutely be fulfilled to all backers.
Once the manufacturer is fully back and production officially begins, I’ll receive a more detailed production timeline and will share that with you right away.
